Hi,

When I found out that there is a charge, via billing support, to
use Call Block, I told the lady that I do NOT want that service.
I told her, "Do NOT add that to my services". Note: I did NOT
use Call Block.

Every month since that incident, my telephone bill includes
a "One Time Charge", "Call Block" of $15.50. I call Billing Support
to complain and ask the agent to FIX the problem. I asked the
agent to DISABLE that service from my phone service, but I
was told, "there is no way to disable it."

I was told by an agent that they will investigate the issue,
but that issue has NOT been fixed.

Note: I am told to pay the bill less the $15.50 and my bill is
adjusted, but next month, the ISSUE is back. I have to
call billing support again and complain.

Note: When I call billing support, I am on the telephone
as long as a half hour because the agent ask me to hold
while he/she checks something. This repeats for two or
three times (on hold). I was told that they have no idea
why this charge is added to my phone bill.

Verizon is telling you "We're too stoopid to fix that; drop us and
get a different carrier."

Take their advice.

Another strategy is to contact your state's Bar Association and
find out whether they have a referral service. In some states,
the Bar Association's referral service will give you a half hour
initial consultation for a fairly small maximum fee ($35 in
Oregon, for example). There's a good chance the lawyer will give
you a 'magic phrase' or some other method to cause Verizon to
snap to attention and fix the problem once and for all.

HTH
