Hi,
I am still getting charged ($15.50 or more) for "Call Block" on my
Verizon landline phone bill, now for the 7th month!
A month ago, a billing agent told me (after we hang up) to enter
*80 to turn OFF Call Block incase it is turned on.
When I did that, I heard a message that Call Block is turned ON.
To "turn OFF Call Block, press 3". I pressed "3" and heard,
"Call Block is turned OFF".
I have NOT been able to find a method, and Verizon agent does
NOT know, how to CONFIRM that Call Block is OFF!!!!
Logging into myverizon.com and searching my Profile was NO
help.
This time, when I talked to a billing agent regarding that Call Block
charge on my phone bill, just like all the other agents, she did NOT
know why this is added to my phone bill.
WEIRD SOLUTION according to recent Agent:
She said, if I agree to turn off my telephone number ID when
I call someone (if person has Caller ID, won't see my ID and phone
number), this will "fix the problem" She seemed to be sure.
She said, I can enter *82, then telephone number I am calling,
in order for the person I am calling, can see my ID and phone #.
I am DESPERATE, so I agreed to the change, even though
it does NOT sound logical?
